Episode 16: The Man with the Golden Game

Na na na na na, na na na… WAIT! They have trigger-happy lawyers. Stop that.

So this episode is about a spy. A spy who likes girls and drinking. But isn’t like any other spy character who likes those things. Oh no. It’s really a tribute to… No… No it isn’t a tribute to anything. Nothing to see here. Move along.

Join Norton Chambers as he gets kicked out of University and goes off to make a load of money. Like we all do. Except Norton gets himself mixed up in a heap of trouble. Will he make it through this adventure alive? Will you listen to the whole theme tune without skipping it? What did happen in the lifeboat? This way my dears, this way…

Pythagoras has a posse

Let’s talk about Pythagoras for a moment, shall we? Everyone learns his theorem in school – the square of the hypotenuse is the sum of the squares of the other two sides. So if you take the length of one side of a right-angled triangle, and square it; then take the length of the next side, and square it; add up those two numbers and it will equal, as if by magic, the length of the hypotenuse (the long side of the triangle), squared.

Pythagorean Thorem

3 squared + 4 squared = 5 squared

It’s a beautiful thing.

And as any pulp novel will tell you, people kill for beautiful things all the time.
